Fremantle Ports is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Jodie Ransom to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), commencing 1 July 2024.

Ms Ransom brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent more than 30 years in the ports and marine industries. She was General Manager Operations at Fremantle Ports and is currently the acting CEO since the passing of former CEO Michael Parker. Ms Ransom has previously held senior positions with Svitzer, CBH and Alcoa.

A thorough recruitment process considered candidates across Australia and internationally, with Ms Ransom's breadth of experience across port operations, marine and shipping, as well as in commodity export making her a clear stand-out.

Jodie Ransom has demonstrated strong leadership since acting in the CEO role. Fremantle Ports looks forward to continuing the organisation’s operational and strategic direction and focus on customer engagement and asset renewal with her at the helm.
