Departures from B Shed Ferry Terminal, on Victoria Quay provide not only the quickest option for arriving at Rottnest Island in record time but there are also a number of sea and river-bound adventure activities available from B Shed on Victoria Quay.
The B Shed Ferry Terminal offers a convenient departure point for Rottnest ferries. Come early and experience one of Fremantle’s popular delights, a coffee and a snack from B Shed Cafe & Grill while you wait to depart.
Rottnest Express provides ferries to Rottnest Island departing from B Shed, Northport (Rous Head Harbour) and Barrack Street, Perth, as well as day tours and bike hire.

Rottnest Island Authority
The Rottnest Island Authority office is at E Shed. Phone 9432 9111 or 1800 111 111 (WA country callers) with any accommodation inquiries.
The Rottnest Island Authority’s website allows you to book accommodation, rent moorings and hire bikes.
Short-stay parking is available on Victoria Quay costing $2 per hour. Day, overnight and long-term parking (Zone 3 dedicated all-day parking areas) is near C and D Sheds, costing $10 per day plus 3% surcharge for credit/debit cards. S

. You can choose how you pay for it:
- Pay for parking on arrival - Pay for the number of days at the ticket machine by entering your vehicle registration (maximum 14 days - you will need to purchase 12 days in one transaction and, in a separate transaction, purchase an additional 2 days).
- Pay in advance using Book a Bay online - You pay before you arrive and you park your vehicle in any vacant car bay in Zone 3. You can leave your car for your whole cruise; there is no cap on the maximum days allowed. By paying in advance, your car's registration plate is already recorded as paid with the parking inspectors. This parking is not undercover nor is it secure and it is in demand. Ferry passengers seeking secure, undercover, long-term parking can park at Queensgate Car Park, in Henderson St, Fremantle.
