Free Fremantle CAT bus

The Fremantle CAT bus is a free service and runs seven days a week, every 10-15 minutes! Although the CAT buses are painted orange, there is a Red CAT (northern route) and a Blue CAT (southern route). The bright orange buses take you to all of the most popular Fremantle destinations. There is a Red CAT bus stop located on Victoria Quay at A Shed and a stop near the corner of Phillimore and Cliff streets for the Blue and Red CATs. The buses are fully accessible, with vehicle-kneeling action at the kerbside, a driver-activated ramp and low-floor design for disabled access. Mondays-Thursdays: 7.30am–6.30pm; Fridays: 7.30am-8pm; weekends/public holidays: 10am–6.30pm. The CAT buses do not run on Good Friday, Christmas Day or Boxing Day. There is more information here.

Taxi companies provide wheelchair accessible vehicles on request. See the public transport and taxis page for more information.
