Fremantle Ports values its employees and recognises the enormous contribution they make to the success of our operations. We are committed to maintaining a culture that is committed to service excellence, family-friendly and inclusive, while offering opportunities for personal development.
Health and wellness
Fremantle Ports’ well-established Health and Wellness Program has been developed to provide employees with health education and physical opportunities to promote healthy lifestyle behaviours.
Fremantle Ports has an established Employee Assistance Program available to all employees and their immediate family members.
Fremantle Ports has a very active social club! Members can participate in a variety of social events and special functions.
Fremantle Ports is committed to assisting its employees’ development and learning opportunities.
As most of us will spend a large part of our life working, it’s important that we plan our careers to get the most enjoyment in whatever job we choose. Fremantle Ports supports its employees to develop in their job and manage their career.
Flexible working arrangements
Fremantle Ports recognises that employees have different family, community and social responsibilities and obligations; where operationally possible we provide a certain amount of flexibility in regard to hours and leave arrangements.
Fremantle Ports operates at three locations: Fremantle Inner Harbour, the Kwinana Bulk Terminal and the Kwinana Bulk Jetty. The Fremantle administration building is only a short walk to the cafés, shops and banks in the Fremantle central business district and Fishing Boat Harbour.
The administration building is close to the Fremantle train station and bus terminal, adjacent to a bike path and the two free CAT buses stop close to the building.
Reward and recognition
We recognise our people in a number of ways, with the aim of encouraging innovation and creativity and creating an environment where all of us can feel valued and recognised for our contribution to Fremantle Ports’ success.
